The idea of Fansassy Tours and Safaris was born when hiking great mountains of Tanzania as guides and listening closely to what travellers and mountain climbers would want for a change. The name Fansassy is derived from the initial names of Faraja Ngomuo and Sassylipo who were both very interested in travelling and adventurous activities.

Faraja Ngomuo has been a guide for a long time and now he is the director of Fansassy Tours and Safaris. Through his experience as a mountain guide, he wanted a room where he could bring his ideas and thoughts to reality.

As a tour guide, I have the privilege of witnessing the wonders of this country firsthand, sharing its beauty and its stories with visitors from all over the world. And as a writer for fansassysafaris, I strive to capture those experiences in words, painting vivid pictures of the landscapes, the wildlife, and the culture that make Tanzania so special. My background as an environmental life student, hunter, and fisherman gives me a unique perspective on the delicate balance of nature and the importance of responsible tourism.
